2022-2023 ASG Fellows presenting at the

April meeting at Western Carolina University

This Fellowship is open to any current students in good standing at one of the 17 UNC System institutions. A total of six (6) awards will be given out, and only one (1) student per campus may receive an award.

If selected, Fellows will be awarded $1,000 stipend over the course of the fellowship between November and April in three payments. Fellows will be given guidance from student leaders across different campuses and the opportunity to network with members of the UNC Association of Student Governments (UNC ASG).

In return, Fellows will work with their cohort to identify a problem or opportunity facing students of the UNC System, research the history of the issue(s) identified, evaluate potential responses and stakeholders, and ultimately present their findings and recommendation to the UNC ASG General Assembly near the end of March and other highlighted agencies. Fellows will need to be available for Zoom meetings several times per month.

Priority will be given to students who are remaining in the UNC System through the 2024-2025 academic year, though all applications will be considered.

If you have any questions, read the full program description first (uncasg.org/fellowship) and then email President@uncasg.org with any outstanding questions. Applications will be accepted until Monday, November 11th, at 11:59pm EST.
